“The Headland Hotel & Spa boasts impressive seaside views from its dining areas, and offers unique hydrotherapy treatments; however, some facilities require reinvestment. With its Table d'Hote menu and proximity to Meadfoot Beach, the hotel could be ideal for families and couples alike. Overall, there's potential here, but updating is needed.”

Average Stay. Some Issues Noted

musty roominconsistent shower
My stay wasn't terrible, but there were some definite downsides. The room smelled a bit musty, and i found dust on the kettle. The shower temperature was inconsistent. It switched between hot and cold unexpectedly. I reported a damp patch near the radiator pipe, but I'm not sure anyone actually checked it.

mixed experience at the hotel

decent selectionkitchen extractorspa charge
The breakfast was acceptable. It had a decent selection.
i was quite frustrated. our room overlooked the kitchen extractor, resulting in constant food smells and noise starting at 6 am. also, the spa access now costs £10 per visit, a change from being previously complimentary, it's outrageous!
